World Press Freedom Day 2021 International Conference

UNESCO is hosting the 2021 International Conference with the Government of Namibia across three days. The conference will have a hybrid nature by combining in-person and virtual participation. This will allow media workers, academics, researchers, film-makers, activists and more to take part from all over the world. It will also be an opportunity to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Windhoek Declaration for the Development of a Free, Independent and Pluralistic Press.Date: May 1, 2021, midnight - May 3, 2021, 11:59 p.m.
