Updated COVID-19 Response Statement

Updated: 7 January, 2022

The Fourth Estate has announced that it will be canceling attendance of any large physical conferences and events through December 2022 due to the ongoing COVID pandemic.

The Fourth Estate’s overriding priority is the health and safety of our employees, clients, and business partners. In that regard, we continue to monitor the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 virus.

As a company, we take the health risks and the potential disruption business operations, and to our staff and clients from the Coronavirus (COVID-19) very seriously.  We are taking precautionary and preventive steps to protect the health and well-being of our staff to ensure no disruption to our client services.

These steps include:

No air travel

For the foreseeable future, Fourth Estate employees and staff won’t be traveling by air either domestically or internationally. They will be contacting any person with a scheduled meeting to arrange to have that meeting via phone or web. Staff members who have returned or will soon return from overseas travel will be self-quarantining following the recommendations of trusted global and local public health authorities in all regions in which we operate.

Event attendance

We are reviewing our presence at industry events and tradeshows, and for the foreseable future, will only have a presence if it does not require air travel by staff. This may change if we believe there is any risk to staff.

Office closures

Following advice from the respective governments, all our offices are now closed and staff are working from home.

We are fortunate that all our staff can work from home for an extended period, should the need arise, so that we can guarantee continuity of service for our clients. At all times we are recommending that our global teams follow the health guidelines issued by their own country, as these can vary.
